Today we had breakfast with Alejandro who, although sleepy, was happy to see us and show us around his campus. It was very nice to see that he seems to know everybody there.

We had a three hour introduction and orientation session where we heard all kinds of horrible stories about what will not happen to us if we follow the rules.

We start tomorrow with breakfast at 6:30, then a short 15 min bike to the beach to dip a wheel in the Pacific and then a short 115 mile bike to Palm Springs.
